MONTEIRO LOBATO GAS PROCESSING UNIT

- The General Shutdown of MONTEIRO LOBATO GAS PROCESSING UNIT, located in Caraguatatuba (SP), occurred in September 2017 and Intertechne had the opportunity to participate as EPC in the project for the Automation System Adaptation of UTGCA (ASA Project), which consisted of a series of modifications to increase the robustness of the unit’s automation system, developing a remodeling design in the physical and logical structure of the network architecture, in addition to the adaptation of the interlocking, control and monitoring networks, meeting the technical recommendations of the HazOp/LOPA risk analysis
- The project was responsible for segregating the control and safety loops, increasing the unit’s operational safety, and for restructuring the Industrial Automation Network, increasing the operational availability of the supervision and control system, making the system suitable for the certification process for the Safety Instrumented System loops.
